On Sunday 3rd May I spent my morning in one the worlds largest toy stores for a very special event with Dreams Come True Charity. When the charity asked me to photograph the morning of course I said yes. Seeing the children's faces when they saw the stormtroopers causing mischief whilst queueing outside and their faces when entering the store was simply priceless.
The store was closed between 10am and 12am for the dream day event which involved more than 400 people at the party including 148 very excited children who were given the complete run of all seven floors of the largest toy shop in the world.
Laura Hamilton who is Dreams Come True's ambassador came to the event with her son Rocco and husband Alex to have a family fun morning during the 2 hours.
The day was great fun with magicians, puppet shows, balloon modelling and face painting. 48 children who are currently waiting for, or have just had their dream fulfilled each received a special Hamleys bear.
